Under 9s is an Introduction to Saturday Cricket. Teams are entered in the local competition and play other local teams. 

 

16 over games on a 14m wicket. All players bat, bowl, and field equally. The focus is on participation and skill development. There are 6 - 8(max) players on a team. 

 

Games are 90 minutes and held at Thornleigh West PS or local grounds.

Under 9's Costs only $155 for the season. Your NSW Government Active Kids Voucher can be applied at the payment stage at the end of the registration.

Thornleigh Cricket Club is aiming to run multiple Under 9's Teams in the 2023/24 Season. Children who have previously done Junior Blasters/Cricket Blast or anyone who wants to start playing an actual game of cricket on Saturday morning are suitable for Under 9's.
